Outdoor cinema returns to Wollongong, bringing great films and a few surprises

[Sponsored] Sunset Cinema kicks off in Wollongong at the end of 2017 for an exciting three-month season, with tickets now on sale.

As always the film program offers a mix. There are Oscar favourites such as I, Tonya, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and The Post. There are Hollywood blockbusters such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, The Greatest Showman and Pitch Perfect 3. Family flicks include Paddington 2, Ferdinand and The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature. And there are revival screenings of cult classics The Breakfast Club and Dirty Dancing. For Valentines Day on Wednesday February 14, there'll be a screening of 50 First Dates and live music before the movie.

Based in Keiraville, the Wollongong Botanic Gardens is one of NSW’s premier flora and fauna precincts. Situated a five-minute drive from the heart of Wollongong, it's a gem of a venue to experience at night.

Gates open 90 minutes prior the film commencing and a range of food and beverages is available. Join the Sunset Cinema Movie Club to get early bird ticket discounts, news, promotions and other prizes.
