Chances are, we’re all in need of a little rest and relaxation right now. A long and soapy bubble bath would do the trick, but you can take that state of zen to the next level with Virgin Active’s brand-new Sound Bath class

What exactly is a sound bath? It’s pretty much the ultimate excuse to nap without guilt to the soothing sound of crystal singing bowls. Each sound bath class will start with two simple yoga poses, after which bathers are left to rest, recover and find that inner sense of peace. You’ll walk away feeling rejuvenated to the max, since sound baths also help to reduce tension, alleviate stress, and balance your nervous system.

Virgin Active Australia is inviting everyone to join the launch of Sound Bath with a one-off class on October 25 at 7.30am. The free 45-minute class will be held in the Harbourside Room at the Museum of Contemporary Art. All you need to bring is a busy mind and willing heart, plus extra sweaters and socks for added comfort.

Spaces are strictly limited for the complimentary sound bath class, so you’ll want to sign up quickly. Non-members will need to register for a free account on the event page, which will provide them with access to the booking portal.

Don’t worry if you miss out. Enjoy a complimentary class at any of their participating clubs including Bligh Street, Bondi Junction, Collins Street, Norwest, Wynyard and Zetland from October 9.
