Time Out says

Painting With Light will be dragging the eye-popping lights of Vivid deep underground and surrounding punters with interactive installations, holograms and projections in the tiered basement of the Imperial Hotel. There's also music from some of Sydney's biggest floorfillers, Cosmo's Midnight, Muto and a collaborative sound and light party experience called 'The Imaginarium' from producer Ribongia and visual wizard Ego.

Hit the dancefloor with luminous, beat-synced visuals from Perth illustrator Pogo, who scrambles pop culture and Disney imagery so you'll be moving amongst some playful psychedelia. Upstairs there's an interactive '3D sonic landscape' by designers Lloyd Barrett and Kieran Warner-Hunt to play with between sets.
