Time Out says

These rock legends will perform the greatest hits from their new album at this one-off Sydney show

Hot on the heels of the release of their new album, rock’n’roll masters Queens of the Stone Age have announced they are coming to Australia for their End is Nero tour.

Performing a slew of Australasian dates, the rockers will headline Mona Foma in Hobart as well as performing live shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane, and a one-off performance at our Horden Pavilion on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The band will be supported by psych rockers Pond and the post-punk outfit Gut Health.

Founded by Joshua Homme against a backdrop of '90s stoner rock in California, Queens of the Stone Age's ascent since releasing their major-label 2000 debut, Rated R, has been nothing short of stratospheric. Now considered one of the leading heavy rock bands of the 21st century, the band comprises of Homme and Troy Van Leeuwen, Dean Fertita, Michael Shuman and drummer Jon Theodore.

Concertgoers can expect to hear tracks from their new album In Times New Roman – which debuted at #2 on the ARIA charts – as well as hits like 'No One Knows', 'Little Sister', 'My God is the Sun' to 'The Way You Used to Do' and many more.

Homme and his band of brothers have made a call to the "obscene and clean", "outcasts and weirdos", and "anyone in between" to attend. "Leave your judgment at the door," the Queens declare. "Bring anything and everything else."

You can sign up for pre-sale tickets, which go live on Friday, October 27 at 12pm (local), or try for general tickets, which go on sale on Monday, October 30 at 1pm. For complete tour and ticket information, visit the Live Nation website here.
