Burned a hole in your wallet this holiday season? We hear you. And so does the team at online booking platform the Fork, which is why – for the second consecutive year – the platform is offering five weeks of heavily discounted dining across the country.

Until Sunday, February 9, you’ll get a whopping 50 per cent off your food bill at hundreds of restaurants nationwide if you book on the Fork website or through the app – and that applies to any reservation, for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

That means you could technically get the ball rolling over brunch at Little Jean in Double Bay, follow it up with a leisurely lunch at Leichhardt’s Capriccio Osteria and stuff yourself silly with sushi and a side of live jazz at Jazushi in Surry Hills for dinner – all in the course of one day.

Should you wish to get fancy (and why wouldn’t you at these prices?), some finer diners are also on the list, including the Boathouse on Blackwattle Bay and Merivale’s poolside HQ for all things Italian, Uccello. What you save on your food bill can go towards something extra splashy from the wine list, even more food or if you’re anything like us, probably both. Book away.
