Sydney loves food on the move, from pop-up restaurants to well-catered monthly markets. Park House, the Northern Beaches’ new sun-soaked food and drink destination, is jumping on the bandwagon with their permanent food truck space, Truck Stop.

The first mobile kitchens will roll into the colourfully renovated car park on Sunday September 2 for a Father’s Day launch, and a roster of trucks will tap in and out every Friday to Sunday. There’ll also be a few permanent structures to complement the gypsy kitchens. This will include a bar inside a 1950s Airstream, a vintage school bus slinging tacos and a dedicated pizza kitchen.

While it’s the food that’ll call you to Truck Stop, this family-friendly set-up will host games like snooker, croquet, ping pong and hand ball to keep the kids and rowdier adults entertained. The whole family – including fur babies – can also enjoy live acoustic sets while they dine, plus markets and other pop-up events on the horizon.
