This cute French bistro in Redfern will deliver you dinner by bike

Provincial French restaurant Bistro St Jacques is an underrated neighbourhood gem. With its checkered tablecloths, buttery steak frites and Parisian-style street tables, it injects a little French flair into Redfern's back streets. Now, that experience (and a lot of beurre) can land straight at your doorstep (as long as that doorstep is in the delivery radius) via the 'bistro on a bike' delivery service. 

With the return of lockdowns, Bistro St Jacques will once again be at your bike (ahem) and call, with your choice of dishes from the á la carte menu, a special three-course Bastille Day menu (featuring black South Australian mussels with garlic and white wine, slow-cooked organic lamb shoulder, and a warm baked brioche dessert), and even a four-course vegan option (both $75). There are also cheeses and desserts to choose from.
