Sydney’s shiny new international airport is seconds away from opening. And if you’re hesitant about booking because of the whole how-to-get-there situation, we’ve got updates. The team at Western Sydney International have confirmed that they’ll be offering an express electric shuttle service from Sydney’s CBD – launching when passenger flights take off later this month.

‘Super Shuttle WSI’ will connect Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport with three major Sydney transport hubs: Parramatta CBD, Sydney CBD and Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport.

The service launches on Sunday, October 25, 2026, with tickets already on sale. Launch fares start at $25 one-way for adults travelling from WSI to Parramatta, $55 to Sydney City and $65 to Sydney Airport.

The buses will run direct and express, with services initially timed around arriving and departing flights. Each electric, low-floor bus can carry 37 passengers, with luggage racks, space for prams and two wheelchair users, plus additional standing room.

The airport says the five-year partnership with NSBC Group will give passengers another option for getting to and from WSI, alongside public buses, taxis, rideshare, car hire and on-site parking.

And because WSI is set to operate 24 hours a day, the shuttle will eventually offer connectivity across the clock, with the timetable expanding alongside the airport’s flight schedule.

Tickets are available to book online, or from kiosks in and around the airport terminal from October 25. You can find out more and book over here.
