Update: the last after pARTY (for the near future, anyway) took place in June 2017.
After pARTY is the brainchild of curators Anna May Kirk and Nerida Ross, who run it once a month at Freda's in Chippendale.
Anna and Nerida are art junkies, and wanted to showcase the peformance parts of Sydney's art scene within a fun, social context – and the first Wednesday of the month being a opening date for lots of local galleries, it seemed like a logical excuse for a post-opening after party.
Expect to party with artists to banging tunes. Things have been known to get weird, nude and colourful.
