Liveworks Festival of Experimental Art is wrapping up with an epic party combining queer art and music
Time Out in association with Performance Space
There are few parties that manage to pull together the full-breadth of Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ community, reach across generations while combining a wild party spirit with some seriously stellar art and queer performance. But that’s what Day for Night, part of the Liveworks Festival of Experimental Art, prides itself on.
Taking place on Saturday, October 26 at Carriageworks, the sixth edition of Day for Night will take you on an epic all-day party whilst celebrating newly-commissioned performances and art installations by queer artists. Artists that have been announced are Nina Buchanan, Zaya Barosso, Jermaine Dean, Brian Fuata and Stereogamous, but there will be more artists announced in the coming weeks.
Day for Night is part of this year's Liveworks Festival of Experimental Art presented by Performance Space, showcasing local and international artists pushing the frontiers of art and performance.
Enter now by Monday, October 14 for your chance to win one of five double passes to this epic queer party.
