Time Out says

A sleek city outpost for Manly's beloved Mexican diner

We were already big fans of Manly's Mexican outpost, Chica Bonita, if only for their chicharron with guacamole. Now they've opened a CBD shop where they're swapping their slightly rough and ready, rock'n'roll, beach aesthetic for a more polished look. The city taquería is set to change up your lunch hour with fish tacos with green cabbage, baja sauce, corriander and lime; or duck carnitas with sour cherries, salsa, orange zest and a jalapeño avocado puree. This is not exactly the taco menu you'd expect from the streets of Mexico City. Ceviche is on offer, as is corn on the cob, tostadas and tlayudas. Diners can also order larger dishes like blue eye cod with warrigal greens, chargrilled prawns with chipotle peppers, and mole pork belly. As expected, the drinks list showcases mezcal and tequila, which means a mid-week Margie party is on the cards whenever the urge for lime and salt overtakes you.
