While burgers seem to totally pre-occupy the minds of most Sydneysiders, not much love is given to its elongated, meaty friend, the hot dog. Luckily for fans of the humble hot-diggity-dog, Wetherill Park has a totlly devoted restaurant, Frank's Original Philly Cheesesteak and Dogs.
Hot dogs come with all the trimmings – raw onions, pickles, relish, American mustard, fresh tomatoes – and come in New York, Chicago or Philly styles.
Along with hotdogs, they are doing grilled beef hoagies, or Philly Cheesesteaks. Ordering one is simple: pick your style (pepper or mushroom) and your cheese (cheez whiz, provolone or American cheddar), then they'll fry you up your very own steak sub.
