Time Out says

You don't want to miss the Inner West stopover of this Korean pancake house pop-up

A flavour-punch of modern Korean cuisine is coming to Alexandria. Tiny 22-seater Sáng by Mabasa has been dishing up its fare at Surry Hills since the closure of Balmain's Mabasa –  but now, it's venturing back to the Inner West.

Alexandria's Mecca is set to soon be filled with the fire and flavour of Korean plates, with chefs Seung Kee Son and Jin Sun Son taking over the kitchen for one night only for Jeon Jib, which traslates to 'pancake house'. Dine to the sound of '70s and '80s Korean tunes on this one-night affair, where you'll  be plied with three kinds of kimchi, an assortment of jangahchi (or pickles), two kinds of jeon (pancakes), and a snack of your choosing. Plus, Korean pancakes are best consumed with booze.

Head over on Wednesday June 16 for one of two sessions, starting at 5.30pm or 8pm. Book online
