From September 8-16 the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney will host guest chefs Clayford Manuel, Charie Carmel Ferolin and Jovelyn Adra from Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila in a celebration of Filipino cuisine.

The Shangri-La Hotel's Café Mix will transform into a culinary destination, transporting you to the Philippines with a special lunch or dinner experience. The chefs will prepare dishes from their hometown including sisig (an appetiser of pork head and chicken liver), lechon (which is similar to a roast suckling pig), adobo (simmered and marinated meats) and chicken inasal (hot coal grilled lime, pepper and vinegar chicken).

The Philippine Food Festival runs daily and you can book in for lunch or dinner. Sun-Thu lunch or dinner will cost $55; Fri-Sat lunch will cost $55; and dinner $85.
