Time Out says

The acclaimed NYC restaurant is popping up in Sydney for just one spicy Sunday

Long Chim chef David Thompson is bringing his buddy Andy Ricker to town to head up his kitchen for one day. Ricker is the man behind New York City's Pok Pok, which like Long Chim, shares a strong appreciation for seriously fiery Thai food.

In the afternoon and into the evening Pok Pok's snack menu will takeover the bar. This includes Andy Ricker's famed wings, which have been dubbed some of the best in America. There will also be other meaty treats including smoked beef with Koh Loy Sriracha sauce (which Thompson and Ricker both regard as the best sriracha sauce in the world) and deep fried cured pork ribs with garlic. Add in tamarind whiskey sours and some Singha beers and you've got a seriously spicy Sunday session in the making. It all kicks off at 4pm and walk-ins are welcome.

If you want to guarantee a taste of Ricker's goods you'll need to book into the long table lunch, which will focus on Northern Thai style dishes. Think Chiang Mai pork curry, shredded green papaya fritters and durian with palm sugar pudding. Bookings are essential and the banquet costs $150 per person.
