Time Out says

A festival of music, skate, street fashion and art, straight from New York

There's a lot happening at Carriageworks this weekend. From the Black Arts Markets to Heard-Syd

But only one of those events is going to feature a recreation of legendary San Francisco skate stairs the Hubba Hideout, and that would be Made Sydney, the Aussie accented sister to the major New York event of the same name.

Alongside skate demonstrations, the weekend-long festival will feature DJ sets from Sydney party starters Astral People, Pelvis, Sports and Young Tapz, screenings of the new Slim Aarons documentary and a global first fashion show by cult label (Rihanna's a superfan) Faith Connexion.

There'll also be pop-up boutiques from local streetwear brands like Emma Mulholland (who'll be creating a special tee just for the event), Double Rainbouu (whose Hawaiian shirts always sell out) Melburnians Poms, Pageant and Distal Phalanx plus international brands like Misbhv and Egy Boy.
