Once you’ve jumped off the ice rink and whirled around the fairground rides at Winterlight, head to these cute night markets on Market Street (appropriate) opposite Prince Alfred Square. It’s the first time these pop-up stalls are opening in Parramatta, and you can expect local makers slinging the finest in homewares, preserves, fashion and skincare.
A few of the confirmed stallholders include wood wick candle makers Red Lauren, environmentally conscious fashion label Earthie and ceramics cooperative Parra Clay Pottery. There’ll be a few setups offering snacks to take home, but if you’re after a hot meal you’ll want to head to the huge collection of food stalls at Winterlight.
The markets run for four nights of wintery retail fun this July.
