Time Out says

Get your heart pumping at this biathlon around Sydney’s stunning harbour beaches

Whether you’re an athlete or just want to support a good cause, all ages and skill levels can have a crack at this 6k run and 750-meter swim for charity. The 3 Bay Challenge biathlon is back to raise funds to help protect the endangered rhino.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Australian Rhino Project who are working on an international level to help save the African white rhino from extinction. They are working with organisations including Taronga Zoo to ensure there is a successful breeding program so the species doesn’t become extinct. Last year the biathlon raised over $5,000 for the program.

Starting at Watsons Bay, you’ll make your way, running and swimming, to Nielsen Park and Parsley Bay, taking in some of the most stunning water views in Sydney. There’ll be a free beer and sausage sizzle waiting for you at the finish line at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel.

Grab your tickets online or on race day for $55, and don’t forget your swimmers.
