Time Out says

Get ready to Move It, Move It: after performing to sold-out audiences across the UK and New Zealand, Madagascar the Musical is coming to town this summer.

Adapted from DreamWorks’ animated film about jaded city animals expanding their world views, the hilarious and family-friendly musical will be brought to life on stage at the Sydney Coliseum Theatre from December 16 to January 1 2023, and tickets are on sale now.

Join Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe and Gloria the hip hip hippo, as they escape from their safe haven in New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey with twists and turns ending up stranded on the island of Madagascar.

Featuring colourful sets, world-class puppets, action-packed adventure, brand new songs and plenty of mischievous penguins, Madagascar the Musical is a feelgood production that explores the themes of teamwork, forgiveness and the importance of friendship, that’ll have you dancing and singing along.

In wonderful news for western Sydney, Madagascar the Musical will be performed at the brilliant 2,000 seat Sydney Coliseum Theatre, the first of its kind for the rapidly growing region of Greater Western Sydney.

Tickets to Madagascar the Musical are on sale now. Get yours before they’re all snapped up.
