Time Out says

Indie theatre collective Montague Basement drag Ovid kicking and screaming into the present

The ex-Sydney University Dramatic Society (SUDS) team who adapted Euripides for contemporary Sydney (as All About Medea) at last year's Fringe are back to tackle Ovid. Specifically: they're condensing the 15 books and 250 myths of his epic poem into just 90 minutes.

Devised by Imogen Gardam, Lulu Howes and Saro Lusty-Cavallari (aka Montague Basement) the work will be performed by Howes and Lusty-Cavallari.

Montague Basement, who have produced six indie shows since 2014, are presenting productions of Sarah Kane's Crave and a new devised work Tammy & Kite at this year's Fringe, also at Erskineville Town Hall.

Metamorphoses is part of Sydney Fringe.
