The bittersweet Italian Spritz, which has become ubiquitous over the last decade – the New York Times went so far as to call it "officially the drink of the summer" in 2018 – is coming to the Terrace on the Domain in a brand new ready-to-serve bottle.
You can spend a balmy summer evening outside on the grass, lazing on a bright orange picnic blanket, with a picnic hamper to nibble at as you take in the greenery of the Domain and sip on an Aperol Spritz at the Terrace's new pop-up picnic. It's all to celebrate the brand's newly launched Ready to Serve Spritz. It means we can now experience a refreshing Aperol Spritz at even more social occasions: all you need to do is pop open the bottle, pour into a large wine glass with ice and an orange wedge and enjoy.
Your picnic hamper comes with charcuterie including sopressa, mortadella, homemade pickles, Australian cheeses, apple and fig chutney, a deli panini and fruits, as well, as of course, two Ready to Serve Aperol Spritzes to sip on the lawn. You'll finish off with a velvety tiramisu. Each hamper is $80 for two. Book in on Wednesdays to Sundays between noon and 7pm.
