Time Out says

Learn about space travel, coding, robotics and more during National Science Week

Geek-out at this regular, family-friendly addition to the Sydney Science Festival. It’s kind of like a high school science fair, except you actually want to be there and the dioramas are on another level.

It will once again showcase the fields of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) through exhibitions, demonstrations and interactive activities. Explore physics, coding robots, zine-making, astronomy and humanity’s expeditions into space.

This last topic is particularly fitting, as the Apollo 11 exhibition will be on show at the Powerhouse Museum, celebrating 50 years since the Moon landing. You can go on special tours of the exhibition and see a Mars Rover in motion or peer at the comos through the viewing telescopes.

If you have a crush on maths whizz and YouTube star Eddie Woo, head to the famed Sydney teacher's talk, the Hidden World of Math, which is happening at the museum from 3pm.
