What's this then? Black Comedy's Steven Oliver is hosting a live art game show

Headlining the Art Gallery of NSW's NAIDOC Week program is Faboriginal, an original game show that pits two teams of celebrity contestants against each another, testing their knowledge of Indigenous art. The questions will draw on the gallery's massive Aboriginal art collection: What's rarrk? Which mountain ranges appear most often in Albert Namatjira’s paintings? If the contestants are stumped, you're welcome to help out with your own suggestions.

Steven Oliver, best known for playing one of the Tiddas in ABC's sketch show Black Comedy, will be the host with the most, keeping the peace among the teams as they push through lightning fast rounds. Joining him at the first week is Luke Carroll, Madeleine Madden, Kodie Bedford, Elaine Crombie, Andy Saunders and Adam Hill.

Expect to learn something, but don't worry if you're not across the finer details of Aboriginal art. There'll be plenty of laughs to be had, whether you're an art expert or can't even paint.
