Although he’s based in Melbourne, Kit Webster has had a big influence on how Sydney steps into the light. This year, for Vivid, he’s created an interactive light-up rocketship that uses a mix of projections and mirrors, and is presented by the Starlight Foundation. He’s also created works for Pulse Radio and Electrofringe in the past.
In the future he hopes Sydney: “Becomes more of an innovator in terms of new media and installation. It’d be good to see a lot more interactive public engagements and experiences.”
