Time Out says

One of the most anticipated events on Sydney’s food calendar is back with a one-night food market

On Wednesday March 22, the entire multi-level, multi-venue super club Ivy and its surrounding laneways will host a playground of food, cocktails and wine from some of the Merivale group’s best talents. While previous years have seen this event spread over the entire month, 2017 will see March into Merivale squeeze its diverse self into a one night only event.

On the ground, Dan Hong will transform Ash Street into a bustling Asian street food market with pork belly bao, oysters with jalapeño and ginger nuoc cham and kimchi fried rice with king crab all on the menu. Level one’s Palings will be serving lamb on the spit, quesadillas, Baja fish tacos and their signature burgers. Head up towards the Den for a high tea with pizzaz, featuring pastries, sweets, desserts, champagne and cocktails.

Ivy’s Ballroom will be fitted out to resemble a European garden, with eats prepared by Merivale’s events chef John Wilson. Drinks will be served to match each concept space, including beer and cocktails.

Tickets are $60 and include all food, plus three drink tokens to be redeemed at the bars throughout the precinct.
