Time Out says

The biggest malbec tasting in the country brought to you by the city's most beloved Argentinian restaurant. What's not to like?

There’s not a whole lot in this world that’s much better than a glass of rich, fruity malbec, but we’ll tell you what is – the chance to sample more than 40 of ’em, from a fancy Riedel glass, in one of the city’s most stunning restaurant spaces.

Once again, Porteño and Jed Wines are teaming up to bring you Australia’s biggest celebration of Argentina’s most popular grape on Sunday, October 20 at the restaurant’s original Cleveland Street location. The action kicks off nice and early at 11.30am (when your palate is the sharpest) and wraps up at 3pm, which gives you plenty of time to make your way through all the wines at least three times if you move fast enough, and pick at Argentinian snacks from the Porteño kitchen in between.

Tickets are limited, and set you back a mere $50, which is a bargain given these wines are hard to come by, often available only at restaurant prices and the wine glass you get to keep costs almost half that alone. If you’re on the prowl for a bloody good Sunday session, here’s one.
