Join a traffic-free ride across the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Once spring hits, dust off your bike and join more than 10,000 cyclists in an epic bike-riding event. Say goodbye to the confines of cycling lanes as you cross the glistening harbour, passing the Opera House and zipping through the Rocks and Barangaroo on a city pedal during the Sydney Rides festival.

Spring Cycle is the ultimate city fun ride that's open to cyclists of all ages and abilities. With ride options of 10km, 18km, 50km and 105km starting from St Leonards Park in North Sydney or Parramatta Park, each route guarantees riders the chance to cycle across Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge without having to compete with a single car.

Finishing up in either Pyrmont (10km ride) or Sydney Olympic Park (18km, 50km and 105km routes), riders can enjoy post-cycle entertainment as they stretch sore calf muscles.

You can enter as a team or individually, and if you've got tiny tots under the age of eight, they can tag along on the back of your bike or in a pull-along bike cart for free. If you choose to fundraise for the event, your pedalling dollars will go towards supplying custom-made bikes to kids with disability.
