We hope you’re ready, as starting from December 19 and going to January 8, 2023, some of Merivale’s hottest venues are turning up the heat with the launch of Summer Sets. Think three weeks of non-stop buzzing parties, live music and fabulous events at Coogee Rooftop, The Newport, Ivy, The Vic on the Park, Totti’s ,The Royal and more.
Eastern suburbs pearl Coogee Pavilion is teaming up with the great folks from Byron Bay Brewery to throw the summer rooftop sessions of your dreams. Rooftop Sessions at Coogee Pavilion will take place each day over the three weeks and will feature live DJs, drink deals and Young Franco headlining on Boxing Day.
See out the year and bring in 2023 with style at The Newport and enjoy those incredible views of Pittwater Harbour alongside two dazzling fireworks shows and The Barney Cools DJs on the decks. Entry is free on New Years’ Eve before 7pm and afterwards it will be $25. While booking is not necessary, we’d absolutely recommend doing so for large groups.
Bondi’s gem The Royal is putting on a show this New Year’s Eve with indie rock four-piece band Pacific Avenue headlining alongside top DJs. Back it up the next day with a Bloody Mary or two as Lazy Eyes, Royel Otis, Heavy Metal Country, World Champion, Sudek (DJ set) and more will be performing for a mini-festival to kick off the New Year. Entry is free.
Located in the heart of Marrickville, The Vic on the Park seems like a stellar option to celebrate New Years’ Eve. Cool Sounds from Melbourne will be performing alongside Thunder Fox and Suiix, plus $7 schooners of Byron Bay Brewery Premium Lager.
Perhaps the most coveted seat in town for New Year’s Day will be at sunny Totti’s, with the chic Italian restaurant offering a four-hour food and beverage package with live DJs, complete with an afterparty next door at the Royal. Tickets are limited and start from $495 per person.
