Time Out says

Suntory’s flagship beer bar is heading to Sydney for a limited time as part of its worldwide tour

Beer enthusiasts, this one’s for you! Sydney has lucked out big time, being picked as one of only nine cities in the world to host Suntory’s flagship beer bar, the Premium Malt’s House. After successfully launching in America, the grand tour continued its journey to Seoul and Taiwan, and will finally touch down in Sydney from July 21 to August 6.

Darling Square’s buzzing late-night bar, Nakano Darling is a natural fit to host this exclusive pop-up, as the venue’s izakaya-style menu and passion for Japanese drinking culture go hand-in-hand with Suntory’s premium beers.

This is the first (and perhaps only) time that the Premium Malt’s will bring this ‘kami-awa’ experience to Australia and we suggest adding it straight to the top of your winter bucket list. Translating to ‘super fine creamy foam’, the Premium Malt’s House offers an exclusive taste of four rich and foamy ‘kami-awa’ beers including their award-winning Japanese Premium Malt, the black beer, and the half and half. If you dare to be different, there’s also the incredibly creamy ‘mliko’ (milk) beer, which boasts a thicker than foam and a weight lighter than a meringue.

You can drink like they do in Tokyo at the Premium Malt’s House seven days a week from July 21 to August 6. Nakano Darling welcomes you from 5pm to midnight, Sunday to Wednesday, and extends its hours from 5pm to 2am, Thursday to Saturday. PS: International Beer Day fittingly falls on a Friday this year (August 4), so you’ll want to book in fast.
