Time Out says

Investigate art, spirituality, culture and identity in these after dark art gallery sessions

We’re a big fan of the Art Gallery of NSW’s free Wednesday night art series – with after-hours access to the galleries, live music, workshops and talks. But for Vivid, they’re curating some pretty special nights. Each night will be led by a discussion about personal histories, spirituality and cultural and social identity, before art-seeking night owls enjoy live music, interactive workshops and gallery excursions.

The program rounds out with a behind-the-scenes look the ABC’s You Can’t Ask That. This program confronts Australians who identify with marginalised or criticised communities with the big questions about their world views and experiences. This gallery session invites some of the show’s participants to talk about making unlikely connections, and asks the program’s producers, Kirk Docker and Aaron Smith, what their intentions for the show were and the kind of experiences they’ve had on set. This’ll be followed by an unusual audio experience that’ll take you back to the moon landing with Australian jazz musician Jonathan Zwartz.
