More than 419,000 people rocked up to the Grand Prix last year – the strongest ever turnout. With this year’s tickets selling like hotcakes, we could be in for an even bigger event this time around.
If you haven’t secured a ticket yet, don’t fret, because The Star and Red Bull have put their clever heads together and come up with a fun way to spread the high-octane energy to Sydney.
Grab a seat at The Star’s 24/7 Sports Bar for your chance to win a trip for two to Melbourne to attend the Grand Prix from March 31 to April 2, including two return economy flights and some sweet accommodation for two at Le Méridien Hotel.
All you need to do is take a seat in the race car simulator between 6-9pm every Saturday from March 4-18 and race for your tickets. Log your fastest lap time and the speediest driver overall will win. The race car simulator will be open other times if you really fancy a drive, but make sure to show up during the competition hours if you want to be in the draw.
Bonus: the competition times just happen to line up with some upcoming NRL games. That means you’ll be able to watch the action live, large and loud on the 34m² mega screen in surround sound while you race.
