Awesome, thanks for all the restaurant tips.  I love that you broke it down into category.  That makes it really easy to search.  My wife and I just finished with our vacation in Victoria BC and ate at some great restaurants there.  Now we are in London and hopefully we will be able to find ones that are just as good.

Please can you do "best places to go with a group". I am always looking for places to go for birthdays, big dinners with friends, or with work colleagues and its alway a real struggle to find places that will take 10 or more people without you having to hire a private room. Thanks!

We tried to dine at Bincho in Soho. No wonder the place was nearly empty. The service was shoddy. We were left to wait and when a waitress eventually appeared to take a drinks order, we were told that we could not have a soft dring served in a can, for Health & Safety reasons. The manager appeared and continued to defend this rediculous position. We will NEVER go there again!
