Chef Ryan McCaskey is offering a five-course prix fixe menu for Valentine's Day. Menu items include red beet with rose, champagne and peekytoe crab and a Stonington lobster "pie," with dauphine potato and black trumpet mushroom. Acanto is serving a special a la carte menu February 11–14 with dishes like seared sea scallops and black truffle tagliatelle. Sommelier Jon McDaniel has picked a variety of wines inspired by Romeo and Juliet for Valentine's Day. Enjoy wines from Veneto, Italy, a region that encompasses Verona. Lovers can share a plate of the lobster egg noodles ($38), with black trumpet mushrooms, carrots, pistachio and brandy cream. Singles, head to the bar and grab the "burger for the lonely hearts," ($14) with Emmentaler cheese, sauerkraut and a fried egg with salt and vinegar chips.

Chef Lee Wolen has created a seven-course tasting menu with selections like crab with cauliflower, sea urchin and apple and grilled beef short rib with bitter greens this Valentine's Day. Café des Architectes

Café des Architectes is bringing a version of Paris's Pont des Arts (the "Love Locks" bridge) to Chicago. Couples can attach locks to a display at the hotel's entrance throughout February. Everyone who purchases two entrees will receive a lock. For an extra special holiday, start with the Valentine's prix fixe menu (available February 12–14 after 5pm) and end the meal by adding your lock as a sign of affection.
