Young Soy Gallery presents Paper Trails

Over the past decade, Hungarian filmmaker, skateboarder, and artist Patrik Wallner has collected a series of unusual banknotes throughout his expedition around Eurasia & Africa. By folding and reshaping each one to create graphic structures and symmetrical patterns, Wallner explores the sheer power of these banknotes and how one single piece of paper can provide perspectives on the history of a nation.
