HKAF: Concerto Italiano - Vespers of 1610

It doesn’t get any better for early classical music as it does for the Concerto Italiano, known worldwide as the premiere interpreters of Claudio Monteverdi’s work. They interpret for us Monteverdi’s Vespro della Beata Vergine or Vespers for the Blessed Virgin which is rarely performed wholly for the public, in celebration of the 450th anniversary of the composer’s birth.
