Summer is the perfect excuse to sip on refreshing libations, and Cordis, Hong Kong is embracing the season with a ‘Breezy Summer’ celebration. On July 28, gather your friends for sundowners at their outdoor bar The Garage Bar and indulge in a delicious grilled seafood platter – King Prawn, New Zealand rock oyster Kilpatrick, Hokkaido scallop, and miso-marinated Norwegian salmon – with 90-minute free-flow of Château de Berne Romance Rosé, and G&Ts made with Four Pillars Gin and London Essence Tonic ($598 for two persons). The bar is zhushing up their al fresco spot with a romantic ambience complete with swings, tents, and a truck decorated with balloons and lavenders. Those who want to elevate their G&T game can catch the exclusive gin workshops (from 4.30pm-6pm, 6.30pm-8pm, 8.30pm-10pm). Pre-paid guests will get a complimentary bottle of 90ml gin (valued at $138) as a gift.

For a more intimate affair, book a table at European restaurant Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social and enjoy their four-course wine pairing dinner ($958 for two persons) from now until August. Alibi’s chef de cuisine, James Oakley, will be crafting European-style dishes, which will include scallop crudo, slow-cooked Australian lamb rump, and coconut almond cake with green apple sorbet. Guests can pair the dinner with two glasses of wines selected by Alibi’s chief mixologist Leo Ko or opt for a bottle of floral Château de Berne ‘Romance’ Rosé 2020, a well-structured rosé from Côtes de Provence and an excellent accompaniment to any dishes.
