Celebrations kick off at Sha Tin racecourse in the Parade Ring with a captivating rendition of the national anthem and other classics by famous operatic tenor Wei Song, followed by a rope skipping show by the Hong Kong Rope Skipping Association, and an exciting drumming performance by Tago.
The event also features a Chinese Arts & Crafts Avenue, where visitors will discover an array of fun cultural experiences in four Chinese arts and crafts areas – including wheat stalk painting, paper-cutting, dough figurines, and traditional buttons – and visit the world-class horse training facilities and stables of the Conghua Racecourse through a VR tour. Don't miss the live music performance by Midnight Ensemble, and of course, the much anticipated 1,000m National Day Cup.
