You thought party season was over, but that was before you heard about the best sort of party going… a pita party! Not to be confused with a pity party, obviously. Throughout January, mighty Middle Eastern restaurant Berber & Q Shawarma Bar will be inviting four hot London chefs to create a fit pita pocket to run on the menu all week. Stop by for a chance to try creations from Duck & Waffle's Dan Doherty, Decatur’s Tom Browne, Caravan’s Miles Kirby and Moro’s Sam Clark. Dan Doherty’s up first from January 9 with a (you guessed it) duck-filled invention.
Best of all, the month-long celebration of all things pita culminates in an actual pita party on February 5. Find all chefs plus Berber & Q’s Josh Katz dishing up their specialities, all washed down with Middle Eastern wines or a specially brewed golden ale from Crate Brewery.
