We’re not shy about how much we like Bad Boy Pizza Society (one of Time Out’s best pizza restaurants in London) so it brings us great joy to let you know that there’s now another London location serving their serious slices.
You can now get their 12-inch pizzas at the newly-opened Village Underground Rooftop in Shoreditch. The rooftop terrace, which opened earlier this month, is on the top of east London venue the Village Underground.
This is the first time the general public has had access to the space, which as well as an lovely outdoor terrace, features recycled Jubilee line carriages on top of what was once a railway viaduct on Great Eastern Street. The rooftop bar is open Wednesday to Sunday.
You can also score Bad Boy pizza at their very own pizza parlour in Bethnal Green, as well as at Seven Dials Market in Covent Garden, the Railway Tavern in Tulse Hill and Vinegar Yard in London Bridge. Our favourite is the ‘vodka-roni’, with pepperoni and vodka sauce.
Bad Boy Pizza Society started out as a parody university society before they actually started making pizzas, then became a serial pizza award winner, including National Pizza of the Year 2022 and 2024. Inspirational, tbh.
