How did you celebrate last New Year's Eve? On your couch slavering over some chow mein from your local takeaway, trying to keep your eyes open before the bells? Or maybe shivering in a park somewhere, swigging from a bottle of supermarket-branded fizz while thinking to yourself: 'I'm too old for this'?
Thankfully, that's all in the past – you only need to have a cosy night in or hit the parks if you really fancy it. If you'd rather go all out, there's heaps of NYE parties happening around London for you to look forward to. We've just caught whiff of a particularly good-looking one happening in Decimo, that swanky restaurant on the 10th floor of The Standard hotel at Kings Cross. The night will be headlined by Radio 1 DJ Benji B, who'll be spinning some eclectic tunes to keep the vibes flowing into the early hours. He'll be joined by some very mysterious 'special guests', set to be announced in the coming weeks.
NYE at The Standard, takes place on Fri Dec 31 from 10pm to 3am. Tickets start at £65 and are available to purchase here. Ticket price includes entry and a welcome drink on arrival.
