The Piccadilly, Elizabeth, Weaver and Windrush lines are among the London tube and train services that will be impacted by closures this weekend. And that isn’t all: huge stretches of the DLR will also be shut, while the Overground’s Lioness line will only have a reduced service (not ideal for any Bruno Mars fans heading to Wembley).

Sound stressful? Worry not. Time Out’s weekend travel guide will help you navigate the closures. Whether you’re watching the final couple of games of the World Cup, seeing waiters race at the Soho Village Fête or going to the first dates of the 2026 Proms, we’ve got you covered.

Here are all planned closures on London’s tubes and trains on July 18-19 – and how to plan ahead and avoid them.
