Halloweenie 2015 in photos
Known around town as the "Party with a Purpose," Halloweenie benefits the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles. It's also one of the best annual dance parties famous for its over-the-top costumes, over-the-top performers, and more than a few shirtless gentlemen.
Return to Gotham Halloween party 2015
Skybar dressed up as Gotham City this Halloween, complete with digital projections on the building exterior, for this two-night party. The hotel bar featured a trick-filled villains playground with themed areas like Selina Kyle's "Hell Here" apartment, Penguin's "Arctic World" lair—complete with snowstorms—and "Jokers Paradise."
Halloween at the Roosevelt Hotel 2015 in photos
For the Roosevelt Hotel's annual Halloween bash—spanning the entire property, from ballroom to pool—music was provided by resident DJs and Travis Scott. The Roosevelt DJs know how to get even the most lackadaisical of starlets up and dancing in their sexiest costumes. The hotel was decked out in Halloween get-up (think dungeons and ancient crypts), of course, and its reputation for ghostly sightings definitely gave it a few extra creepy plus points. West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval 2015 photos
The West Hollywood Costume Carnaval brought out some of the most creative—and committed—Angelenos for the largest Halloween parade in California. Here are some of our favorite photos from this year's annual Halloween hot spot.
The Ace Hotel's Black & White Ball 2015 photos
The Ace Hotel in Downtown LA has already won over the heart of nearly every Angeleno and seems set on holding its hip mantle. With LACMA and KCRW's respective Halloween parties out of the picture this year, the Ace's second annual Halloween ball looked to establish itself as one of the best in town. The night kicked off with a screening of Dracula, accompanied by a live performance of the film's score by Philip Glass. Guests, doing their best interpretations of the "Black & White" theme, then roamed the rooftop bar and the ornate 1920s theater. As with any trendy LA Halloween party, though, it was the costumes that shined brightest.
