To coincide with the publication of a double biography of the same name, Modern Love pays tribute to Heide founders John and Sunday Reed, displaying artworks they collected, personal memorabilia and recently found photographs. By opening their property, which they purchased in 1934, to artists like Albert Tucker and Sidney Nolan, the pair assembled one of Australia's most important collections of modern art. But beyond their influence as art collectors, Reeds are remembered for their libertarian attitudes and unconventional lifestyle.
