Over two weeks (and three floors), Brunswick Street Gallery is celebrating Midsumma with a gallery takeover featuring some of the country's brightest queer artists.
Out puts LGBTQIA+ identifying artists in the spotlight for a show that permeates the entire gallery. Both emerging and mid-career artists are represented, with works spanning painting and photography, through to multi-media and sculpture.
The takeover is quite sizeable, encompassing seven solo exhibitions as well as a group exhibition. Solo shows to look out for include Sian Harris's Muntampara: Decolonising Queerness; Gods & Not by Kyle KM; and Eric Sesto's Cycle of Life.
Out is showing at Brunswick Street Gallery until February 13 and is free to visit.
