Time Out says

Australian-born artist Soraya Zaman traveled to the US and spent three years traversing the country, photographing people in the trans-masculine community. And now you can see the fruits of their labour in Reconstruct (the) Normative, a photo-installation showing at Federation Square this summer.

Zaman is known for their raw and powerful photographs that often explore gender and sexuality, with the portraits in Reconstruct (the) Normative depicting the tenderness and sincerity of each subject. The exhibition is presented as a bridge-like installation that can be viewed for free in Fed Square's Atrium building from January 28 to February 10.
