Time Out says

This exhibition puts a noted Australian sculptor in conversation with a Japanese artist

We get plenty of opportunities to see both leading contemporary Australian artists and international stars gracing our galleries. But it's rare that you get to see local work presented alongside – and in conversation with – international art.

This exhibition, at the recently opened Buxton Contemporary, will be the first in an annual series which is seeking to provide an international context for Australia's contemporary art. The team at Buxton have brought together 20 years of work from Adelaide-born Mira Gojak with a range of pieces from Tokyo-based Takehito Koganezawa.

Gojak's work includes new sculptures and installations as well as photographs and drawings, whereas there's a selection of early drawings from Koganezawa alongside video drawings and new improvisational works.
