Time Out says

Musical scores and notation are the leaping off point for this exhibition of cross disciplinary contemporary artworks from Australia and beyond

The artworks in this exhibition play with scores and notation (for music and/or dance) in curious ways, often using them as a kind of language that can translated into a completely different artform or sense – just as Sydney musician-turned-painter Roy de Maistre, one of Australia's abstract Modernists, created a 'colour-music' theory that translated melodies into colour patterns.

This exhibition, curated by Jacqueline Doughty, will feature works in diverse mediums, by John Cage, Roy de Maistre, Fayen d’Evie, Marco Fusinato, Charles Gaines, Michaela Gleave, Agatha Gothe-Snape, Nathan Gray, Helen Grogan, Ludwig Hirschfeld Mack, Yuki Kihara, Shelley Lasica, Dylan Martorell, Angelica Mesiti, John Nixon, Sandra Parker, Mia Salsjö, Charlie Sofo, Sriwhana Spong, Christine Sun Kim & Thomas Mader, and Danae Valenza.
