Time Out says

If you've never experienced this Melbourne four-piece live, then here's your perfect chance

By now, no doubt you've at least heard about City Calm Down: the Melbourne alt-rock outfit that has been making waves since their 2015 release, In A Restless House. They've unleashed their anthemic songs like 'Rabbit Run' and 'Border on Control' across the country and in the UK – and will play their biggest show ever at Shimmerlands at the University of Melbourne on Sunday February 5.

This huge amphitheatre concert will be the band's last before they return to the studio to create a follow-up record. As always, Shimmerlands will host an impressive selection of food trucks, plus a bar.

City Calm Down will be supported by Melbourne singer-songwriter Gretta Ray and neo-soul four-piece The Harpoons.

Here's what happened when we interviewed City Calm Down frontman Jack Bourke last year.

Did you know that Shimmerlands is also home to an outdoor cinema? Here are our top picks of the program.
