Mama's Boy Trattoria
Time Out says
Italian snacking gets supercharged at this trattoria with a dedicated bruschetta menu
You're no doubt familiar with the classic Italian primer bruschetta, a little raft of garlicky crusty bread topped with fresh tomatoes, herbs and olive oil. At this Brunswick trattoria they are doing a deep dive on the starter, serving up seven different variations including black truffle with Italian sausage and scarmoza cheese; 'nduja with bitter greens and gorgonzola; basil pesto with fior di latte and tomato; and olive tapenade with roasted capsicum. They're also serving locally made burrata, $25 jugs of Spritz and old faithful pastas like carbonara and lasagne.
