An all-female cast brings to life this play about the future of the planet – and the future of our bodies

How do we keep on procreating when the planet is in peril? How do we invest in our future when so many people seem hell-bent on destroying it? Featuring an all female cast directed by writer and Green Room Award-nominated director Petra Kalive (Hungry Ghosts), Oil Babies fuses dark comedy and domestic drama to draws parallels between the body – particularly the female body – and the current state of the world: how we seek to control it and make it a certain way, our lack of respect for it, and the impossible choices we are forced to confront every day.
